Frottage Artist: Lone Tree II

£135.00

A single leaf rubbing and a number of plant stem rubbings have been used to create this imagined landscape. Inspired by Max Ernst’s frottage art, I wanted to create a series of work inspired by my garden but not of my garden.

Images of the plant rubbings were expanded and manipulated digitally to find the most pleasing compositions. Often inspired by open landscapes, you can understand why I loved this combination.

A wash of water colour has been added to each of the prints in the Lone Tree series, making each of them unique.
